This work is about the correlation between slavery and Christianity. Also about how the ripple effect influences cultural identity. Slaves forced to convert to their masters belief structures. The food that was given to slaves were the unwanted scraps and undesirable cuts of meat. Massa saw the ox tail an said no way, give it to the niggers. The last supper because it's very recognizable and growing up I'd see this fairly often.
